DID YOU FIND A DIFFERENCE FROM ONE CAMP TO THE OTHER ?

I experienced the same basic process in each camp: a process meant to take away our humanity. Our names were taken and we were given numbers instead. We were stripped of our clothes and made to wear striped uniforms with colored prisoner symbols. All our hair was shaved. We were lined up like animals and endlessly counted in the blazing heat and the frigid cold. The SS controlled the Kapos, prisoners who forced the inmates to work; they were often more brutal than the SS themselves.
