La Fondazione Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe e la Fondazione Arnold Liebster hanno organizzato congiuntamente la commemorazione. L&#8217;evento si \u00e8 svolto nel luogo in cui \u00e8 <a href=\"https:\/\/alst.org\/it\/notizie\/eventi\/il-memoriale-ai-testimoni-di-geova-perseguitati-e-uccisi-riceve-un-voto-unanime\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"12225\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stato progettato il monumento<\/a> ai Testimoni di Geova perseguitati e uccisi sotto il nazionalsocialismo nel <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/71RNKsgZn94nP9XQ7\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/71RNKsgZn94nP9XQ7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Tiergarten di Berlino<\/a>, non lontano dallo stagno dei pesci rossi.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Nel 1936, la Gestapo effettu\u00f2 una vasta ondata di arresti contro i principali membri della comunit\u00e0 religiosa tedesca. Uno di questi arresti mirati ebbe luogo il 22 agosto 1936 presso il laghetto dei pesci rossi nel Tiergarten di Berlino. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recensione della commemorazione del divieto di accesso agli Studenti Biblici<\/h2>\n\n<p>Come annunciato, la commemorazione pubblica si \u00e8 svolta il 24 giugno 2025 alle 17:00 nel parco Tiergarten di Berlino. Oltre <strong>150 ospiti<\/strong> hanno partecipato sul posto, mentre <strong>circa 1.200 persone<\/strong> hanno seguito la commemorazione in diretta tramite una trasmissione Zoom. <\/p>\n\n<p>La registrazione completa del servizio commemorativo \u00e8 disponibile su YouTube:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_Uq4lWnwri4\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_Uq4lWnwri4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Link alla registrazione del servizio commemorativo sul canale YouTube della Fondazione Arnold Liebster<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/nXxOwYVJJn0?si=uzmgRD2uZyp5JLCi\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/nXxOwYVJJn0?si=uzmgRD2uZyp5JLCi\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Link alla registrazione dell&#8217;evento commemorativo sul canale YouTube &#8220;Cultura &amp; Arte&#8221;.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Fan Wang (violino)<\/strong> e <strong>Annika Reuter (viola)<\/strong> hanno fatto da cornice musicale al servizio commemorativo.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Uwe Neum\u00e4rker<\/strong>Il direttore della Fondazione Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe ha dato il benvenuto ai partecipanti e nel suo discorso ha reso omaggio allo straordinario coraggio degli Studenti Biblici nella loro lotta contro il nazionalsocialismo. Il governo tedesco ha riconosciuto questa resistenza decidendo di erigere un monumento commemorativo. Neum\u00e4rker ha sottolineato che i Testimoni di Geova si sono rifiutati di fare il saluto a Hitler o di prestare servizio militare. Era particolarmente degno di nota il fatto che aiutassero altre persone, indipendentemente dalla loro religione, ideologia, origine o colore della pelle. &#8220;Sostenevano ebrei, comunisti, neri, sinti e omosessuali&#8221;, spiega Neum\u00e4rker. &#8220;Le persone erano al centro delle loro azioni&#8221;. Questo comportamento ricorda l&#8217;articolo 1 della Legge fondamentale: &#8220;La dignit\u00e0 umana \u00e8 inviolabile&#8221;. La resistenza dei Testimoni di Geova \u00e8 stata un atto di libert\u00e0, la libert\u00e0 di prendere la propria decisione.<\/p>\n\n<p>La <strong>dottoressa Christl Wickert<\/strong> ha poi parlato del ruolo speciale delle donne tra gli Studenti Biblici, che costituivano circa il 45% della comunit\u00e0 religiosa. Ha descritto il destino di <strong>Hildegard Seliger<\/strong>, l&#8217;unica donna direttamente coinvolta nella campagna dello Stagno dei pesci rossi. Seliger fu arrestata il 22 agosto 1936 e pass\u00f2 per i campi di concentramento di Lichtenburg e Ravensbr\u00fcck prima di essere costretta a partecipare alla marcia della morte verso Schwerin. &#8220;Fu nuovamente perseguitata nella DDR&#8221;, ha riferito Wickert. &#8220;Lei e suo marito furono imprigionati per un totale di 40 anni, sia nel Reich tedesco che nella DDR&#8221;.    <\/p>\n\n<p>Wickert ha spiegato che all&#8217;inizio le donne venivano arrestate raramente dai nazionalsocialisti e assumevano compiti importanti: Conducevano studi biblici, nascondevano la letteratura nelle carrozzine, battezzavano e quindi sostituivano gli uomini arrestati. Nella seconda met\u00e0 degli anni &#8217;30, la Gestapo arrest\u00f2 anche i Testimoni di Geova. Nei campi di concentramento, si rifiutavano di lavorare per sostenere lo sforzo bellico, tenevano devozioni segrete ed erano apprezzati dagli altri prigionieri per la loro compassione.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Molte bibliste furono imprigionate a Ravensbr\u00fcck, il pi\u00f9 grande campo di concentramento per donne. All&#8217;inizio furono maltrattate in modo particolare, ma in seguito i nazisti riconobbero la loro affidabilit\u00e0 e le utilizzarono per lavorare fuori dal campo, visto che non riuscirono a fuggire. <\/p>\n\n<p>Wickert ha citato come esempio <strong>K\u00e4the Neumann<\/strong>, una &#8220;meticcia di primo grado&#8221; che fu deportata a Ravensbr\u00fcck nel 1943. I Testimoni di Geova fecero in modo che la Neumann non dovesse pi\u00f9 fare i lavori forzati a causa della sua febbre tifoidea. Questa esperienza e la solidariet\u00e0 tra i Testimoni la commossero a tal punto che si un\u00ec alla comunit\u00e0 religiosa nell&#8217;estate del 1945. Anche lei e suo marito furono in seguito imprigionati nella DDR.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Wickert ha concluso con un riferimento alla Legge Fondamentale, che si basa sulle esperienze dell&#8217;epoca nazista. Ha citato l&#8217;articolo 4: &#8220;La libert\u00e0 di fede, di coscienza e le convinzioni religiose e filosofiche sono inviolabili&#8221; e &#8220;Nessuno pu\u00f2 essere costretto contro la sua coscienza a prestare servizio militare con le armi&#8221;. Questi diritti fondamentali sono pi\u00f9 importanti che mai a causa degli eventi attuali, poich\u00e9 c&#8217;\u00e8 il pericolo che la costituzione democratica venga indirettamente minata. Hanno recitato <strong>13 brevi biografie<\/strong> di Testimoni di Geova che si sono incontrati regolarmente al Goldfish Pond e hanno guidato il lavoro clandestino dei Testimoni di Geova nel Reich tedesco: <\/p>\n\n<p>Heinrich Dietschi, Erich Frost, Paul Gro\u00dfmann, Georg Klohe, Otto Kours, Albert Kuczewski, Georg Rabe, Wilhelm Ruhnau, Hildegard Seliger, Ernst Seliger, Ernst Varduhn, Fritz Winkler e Emil Zellmann.<\/p>\n\n<p>Questi nomi sono rappresentativi dei molti Testimoni di Geova che furono imprigionati in tutta la Germania nell&#8217;ambito dell&#8217;ondata di arresti del 1936 per essere rimasti fedeli al loro credo religioso. denominazione cristiana dei Testimoni di Geova, che si faceva chiamare anche Studenti Biblici Seri, fu sistematicamente perseguitata in Germania dal 1933 e dal 1938 nell&#8217;Europa governata dai nazisti.<\/p>\n\n<p>Quasi 14.000 Testimoni di Geova &#8211; donne e uomini &#8211; furono imprigionati, tra cui 4.200 nei campi di concentramento, dove furono stigmatizzati con un &#8220;triangolo viola&#8221;. Almeno 1.750 Testimoni di Geova persero la vita. Tra loro c&#8217;era il pi\u00f9 grande gruppo di obiettori di coscienza del nazionalsocialismo. La loro sorte contribu\u00ec all&#8217;inserimento del diritto all&#8217;obiezione di coscienza nella Legge Fondamentale. I Testimoni di Geova sono stati perseguitati anche sotto il comunismo e in molti Stati autoritari nel XX secolo, e anche le vittime del nazionalsocialismo sono state nuovamente arrestate e molestate.    <\/p>\n\n<p>Il 22 giugno 2023, il Bundestag tedesco ha approvato all&#8217;unanimit\u00e0 un memoriale per i Testimoni di Geova perseguitati e uccisi sotto il nazionalsocialismo, sotto l&#8217;egida della Fondazione Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.
