R.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>On June 22, 2023, the German Bundestag unanimously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bundestag.de\/dokumente\/textarchiv\/2023\/kw25-de-mahnmal-zeugen-jehovas-953412\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">approved<\/a> the erection of a memorial to Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses persecuted and murdered under National Socialism. The memorial is to be erected in Berlin&#8217;s Tiergarten, near the Goldfish Pond, by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stiftung-denkmal.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe<\/a>.
