Arizona Council for the Social Studies Fall Conference, Mesa, Arizona – USA

Held at Mesa Community College, the conference theme was “Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Citizens!” Exhibitors Renee Ochsner and Kristin Walter shared information about the Nazi persecution of Jehovah’s Witnesses and curriculum materials from the Arnold-Liebster Foundation website.
Arizona Council for the Social Studies includes the Arnold-Liebster Foundation on its Websites of A.C.S.S. Affiliated Organizations & Classroom Resources for teachers and social studies specialists.

Florida Council for the Social Studies Conference, Orlando, Florida – USA

Educators gathered at Embassy Suites Orlando-Lake Buena Vista South for the 57th annual conference. Exhibitor Carol Confehr provided information about the Nazi persecution of Jehovah’s Witnesses and curriculum materials on the Arnold-Liebster Foundation website.

The Fall Conference was held at Harper College. Gaye Flowers and Marge Fulton presented a teacher workshop with the theme “Standing Up, Standing Firm, Speaking Out” that included a Skype interview with Simone Liebster in France. An exhibit table featured curriculum materials related to the Nazi persecution of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
