The Basalt Regional Library sponsored a special author visit for our community with Simone Arnold Liebster by Skype on Monday, January 20, 2014. It was a tremendous success with more than 80 people of all ages participating. Ms. Liebster was an inspiring and informative speaker. She was composed and descriptive when answering the prearranged questions from the audience. We had a full room of people who were eager to meet this amazing woman who stood up for her beliefs at such a young age. She spent almost an hour carefully answering questions from her home in France. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to future visits.
